§ 44-26. Drivers to be licensed.

(a)

No person may operate a passenger vehicle for hire, or allow a vehicle that he owns be operated as a passenger vehicle for hire, unless the vehicle's driver has a currently-valid chauffeur's license issued under state law.

(b)

The chauffer's license and city license, along with a two-inch by two-inch photograph of the driver's face, must be prominently displayed inside the vehicle.
