§ 3.7. Oath of Office.

Before entering upon the duties of his office, every elective and appointive officer shall take, subscribe before, and file with the City Clerk, an oath or affirmation that he will support the Constitution of the United States, the Constitution of the State of Michigan, this Charter and ordinances of the City, and will faithfully perform the duties of the office.
