§ 10.2. Budget Procedures.

  • On or before the first day of April in each year, the City Clerk and the City Manager, acting upon recommendations submitted by the various department heads and the City, shall draw up estimates in writing of the probable expenses and revenues to be incurred for the ensuing fiscal year, specifying in detail all proposed expenditures for the support of the various departments, and for every other purpose for which any money will be required to be paid from any of the several general funds of the city during the year; and also the estimated amount of revenue from all sources other than tax levy. The estimate thus made shall be called "The Annual City Budget" and filed with the City Clerk.
