§ 6-53. Animal waste.

The owner of every cat and dog, shall be responsible for the removal of any excreta deposited by their animal on public walks, recreation areas, or private property. Any person who fails to remove such waste will be subject to a municipal civil infraction and an initial fine of $25.00.
