§ 6-4. Places prohibited.

  • (a)

    No person may ride, walk, or otherwise have control of any horse on any sidewalk, walkway, bicycle path, park, cemetery, playground, parking lot, or other place open to use by the public, except city streets and alleys and private property with the permission of the owner. Upon approval of the director of public safety, law enforcement horse patrols are exempt from this provision.

    (b)

    This section is punishable as a municipal civil infraction.
