§ 36-33. Parking spaces on private property.

  • Parking spaces on private property shall comply with the following:

    (1)

    Each parking space permitted or existing shall be a minimum of ten feet by 20 feet.

    (2)

    Paved spaces shall not cause stormwater runoff onto abutting private property.

    (3)

    Spaces shall be located a minimum of two feet from existing sidewalks and alleys.

    (4)

    Construction of a space on private property shall be considered cost prohibitive when it costs in excess of three times the cost of constructing a paved tree lawn space.

    (5)

    Spaces must comply with sections 46-658 and 46-659 and cannot be developed in the required front or side yard setbacks.
